The German duo consisting of Phil Bayer and Marv Wilder establish a wild blend of solid foundations alongside modern EDM elements and world music. Carving a name for themselves individually in the past as the founders and songwriters of their praised acts, Phil and Marv are now headed on a journey of their own, exploring sound aesthetics across every genre following one simple mantra: There are no limits.
With this statement engraved on their minds, FLOYA strive to create something bigger than themselves, taking you on an unforgettable adventure into their very hearts.
With “Wonders,” FLOYA are diving into the realm of self-reflection and empathy, while musically providing an uplifting and danceable hymn.
“”When I left the music industry back in 2018, I didn’t really know if I could return to what I loved doing the most, and I kind of had to let go of a dream, so to speak,” says Phil. “So when we created FLOYA and started writing this song, I wanted it to be about positivity and having the endurance to get wherever you want to be in life. ‘Wonders’ is our tribute to all the people out there fighting every day, no matter the circumstances, to live out their dreams. Keep on pushing and you will get there.”
With full production duties and additional songwriting fulfilled by Chris Kempe (Embark Audio), best known for his work in ALAZKA and Time, The Valuator and mastering being handled by Robin Schmidt (The 1975, You Me At Six, Biffy Clyro, Don Broco), FLOYA are beyond excited to show you what’s on the horizon very soon.
