Frederick, MD based post-hardcore unit, More To Monroe, have announced their signing to Roadrunner Records. The band – Chris D’Aquino (Vocals, Guitar), Sam Smisek (Guitar, Vocals), Johnny Jamison (Bass, Vocals) and Jacob Maughan (Drums, Vocals) – have also premiered their new track “Jack” accompanied by its official music video which is streaming exclusively on Absolute Punk.  More To Monroe are slated to release their debut EP, Appalachia, which was produced by Drew Fulk (Motionless In White, The Amity Affliction) on September 15^th (see cover art & track listing below).

Frontman Chris D’Aquino commented on the signing stating, “We are all beside ourselves with excitement to join the Roadrunner family. Each day it becomes increasingly more difficult to find people who still solely care about music in this industry; but, that is exactly what we have found here at Roadrunner. Each member of the team here has been so hardworking and profoundly open to our creativity. It has been a dream come true to release this record with this incredible group of people. ”

More To Monroe will continue to release new music videos for each track off their forthcoming Appalachia EP leading up to its release on September 15^th. The band has a couple local Maryland tour dates set for this summer and will look to spend the remainder of 2015 on the road with additional tour dates to be announced in the coming weeks (see itinerary below).
