Lovebites
About
Lovebites, made up of five female members, is the most promising band in the Japanese metal scene. Their looks may be deceiving, but inspired by western metal masters, they have powerful twin guitars, soprano vocals, and a tight rhythm section. Just over a year after their debut in 2017, they entered the world stage and began performing overseas.
In 2018, Lovebites won the Best New Band award at the Golden Gods Awards, organized by the British metal magazine Metal Hammer. They have performed at some of the biggest metal festivals including Wacken Open Air (Germany), Graspop Metal Meeting (Belgium), and Download Festival (UK, Spain). In autumn 2019, they performed as a special guest for DragonForce’s UK tour.
