A Scent Like Wolves is an American metalcoreband based in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. The band announced their signing to We Are Triumphant in November 2015. Their record label debut LP ‘Frigid Future’ was released on March 18, 2016. They toured the US heavily the same year to support the release.
On July 19, 2016, the artist declared they would tour Japan in November with French metal outfit Shoot The Girl First, and continue to tour China as a headlining act in December. A Canadian headliner tour took place in August, 2017. Frigid Future was one of the highest trending metalcore albums in Tower Records Japan until late 2018.
A Scent Like Wolves released their EP “Spirit Vessel” on March 30th, 2018. A video for “Angelwrath” featuring Ryo Kinoshita of Crystal Lake was released on March 15, 2018, and the song was featured on Spotify’s ‘New Core’ Playlist. The band played select shows in the US, and toured South Korea, China and Japan from April 26-May 13, 2018 to support the EP.
In October 2019, A Scent Like Wolves entered the studio. On December 6, 2019, the artist re-issued their 2013 album “And The Story Goes” which featured guest vocalists Ricky Armellino from Ice Nine Kills and Fronz of Attila. A three week US tour took place in December to support the release.As of July 3, 2020, the band finishedrecording their third studio album with producers Carson Slovak & Grant McFarland (Galactic Empire). A Scent Like Wolves will release their third studio album Mystic Auras on February 19, 2021 via We Are Triumphant.
