NAILS MASTERMIND TODD JONES LAUNCHES UNSILENT DEATH PODCAST
PODCAST DEBUTS WITH EPISODES FEATURING DYLAN WALKER (FULL OF HELL), WILL PUTNEY (FIT FOR AN AUTOPSY/END), AND ARTHUR RIZK (SUMERLANDS/PRODUCER)
Nails’ Todd Jones has launched the Unsilent Death podcast, which will feature the singer and guitarist speaking to musicians, promoters, producers, record label heads, and more. The Unsilent Death podcast will host a wide berth of guests from all realms of the heavy music scene — ranging from the hardcore underground to mainstream metal successes of yesterday and today. Each episode will take a deep dive into the backgrounds, the creative processes, and the everyday lives of those who are being interviewed.
The first three episodes will feature Full of Hell vocalist Dylan Walker, Fit For An Autopsy/END guitarist and uber producer Will Putney, and extreme metal producer Arthur Rizk of Sumerlands.
Listen here.
Fans will listen to Walker’s first-hand account of his band’s van being stolen in 2019 and of doing a benefit for Direct-Relief. Listeners will also learn how Putney started his recording career and hear Rizk’s recollection of seeing Metallica for the first time.
As Jones is an artist with over 20 years of experience performing and working in the music industry, the podcast will offer a musician-to-musician and peer-to-peer perspective.
New episodes will be released regularly, with a goal of dropping a new podcast each week and hopefully six to eight episodes per month.
The Unsilent Death podcast also offers Nails fans the unique opportunity to connect with Jones on a more intimate level, as he does not have any personal social media channels.
Listeners and fans can keep up with all the Unsilent Death podcast happenings via the podcast’s official Instagram feed.
