WATCH LIVE VIDEO FOR FIRST SINGLE “THE LAST STAND”

PRE-ORDERS ARE NOW LIVE WITH SINGLE

(New York, N.Y.): Norwegian Blackjazz band Shining have disclosed that International Blackjazz Society will be the title of their upcoming full-length album, due out on October 16.

International Blackjazz Society is the band’s first release through Spinefarm Records, with whom they’ve signed a worldwide deal.

Just as Venom created “Black Metal” in the early ’80s, so Shining can proudly put their name to “Blackjazz.” That’s the title of their 2010 album, which was a Top 10 record in their native Norway.

One One One followed Blackjazz in 2013 and now it’s time for studio album number seven; as with its predecessors, International Blackjazz Society was mixed by Sean Beavan (Depeche Mode, A Perfect Circle,
Slayer) and mastered in Los Angeles by Tom Baker (Nine Inch Nails, Deftones, Beastie Boys).

To open your membership with the International Blackjazz Society, watch this live clip of “The Last Stand.” The song is available as an instant download upon digital pre-order of the album.

Album pre-orders—including official merch bundles offering CD, vinyl, T-shirt, and patch options—are now live here.

ICYMI, watch Shining perform on the side of a mountain. Yes, a mountain.
